Intern Personals: Chris Brito

Meet PENCIL’s summer interns! Over the next few weeks, we’re excited to introduce you to some great students from the PENCIL program who have joined us in our work this summer.

Name: Chris Brito
Age:
 19
School: University at Albany (SUNY)
Last Internship: Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC)
Special Skills: Bilingual (Spanish, English), Financial Planning and Analysis Intern

Chris will focus on strategic and programming work with Jessica Bynoe, PENCIL’s Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer. He is a rising junior at the University at Albany (SUNY), studying Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Economics.

“I am currently the Program & Strategy Intern here at PENCIL where I will be supporting the facilitation and organization of the strategic planning process. I am looking to continue to develop my skills within the strategic realm as I plan to pursue a career in Investment Banking Corporate Finance (Advisory) or Capital Markets (Execution). I love to powerlift, spend time with my family, and do any activity that increases self-development and improvement. Fun fact: I actually have two internships this summer. I am also working as a Financial Deputy Comptroller for the University at Albany Student Association, where I advise student-led organizations on how to achieve their financial goals and implement long and short-term financial strategies all while overseeing a committee of 25+ undergraduates. This internship position is ideal because it gives me the ability to be able to manage other responsibilities all while executing on current tasks. I am at my best when I am as productive and busy as possible.”
